How To Use morrowind with Openmw Apk
Copy the morrowind.zip from archive.org link I shown you above to your Android device. I like to put it in the root of my phone’s SD card, because it typically has more free space (the zip is over 1GB).
Open a file explorer in your Android device. Select the zip and extract it to a new folder called Morrowind. This could take a while. Note that you’ll need around 2GB of free space, and it doesn’t make much difference between internal memory or SD card, but it’s best that you put the folder somewhere easy to find. If your file explorer won’t extract zips, you’ll need one that does, or at least some zip manager, i prefer cx file explorer (there are several options on the Play Store).
Optionally, if you plan on modding Morrowind on Android in the future, keep that zip handy (or at least don’t delete it from your Android device). You might need it if some mod breaks your install and you need to start afresh.
Install and run OpenMicroWave on your Android device (get it on the Play Store). Allow access to file system. Allowing automatic crash reports makes your gaming useful, but that’s ultimately up to you.
Click on option “Game files” and look for the folder data files you put inside your created morrowind folder that you made with the contents of your zip.
Click on the round blue “play” button down below and the game should now start
Note: make sure to extract morrowind with a file explorer and fully extracts into folder called morrowind + copy morrowind.ini file after extraction and move it below data file under files directory then choose to boot it from openmw apk + rename morrowind folder to 0Morrowind required by openmw app.
